The Austin Chronicle interviewed Seeds' singer a week before he died.
On June 25, the onetime leader and bassist of 1960s garage-rock pioneers the Seeds died unexpectedly of heart and kidney failure at St. David's South Austin Hospital from an undiagnosed infection in his internal organs.
