It's the time of the year when everyone is making their best of list and checking it twice. We are scouring the web to find as many lists to help you decide your own choices - or to help you how to spend that Christmas gift voucher. The Age critics name their best: Hits & Misses Of 2009

Metacritic, the great aggregator, has named Nirvana's Live At Reading as the top album of the year. Read their summary of critic lists here: The 30 Best-Reviewed Albums Of The Year.

Pop Matters has its Best 60 Albums of 2009 and its Best Reissues of 2009.

Pitchfork has The Top 50 Albums of 2009 and it has a lot of stuff you've never heard of before!

Rolling Stone has U2 heading its 25 Best Albums Of 2009.

Metacritic has pronounced Radiohead's Kid A the album of the decade based on its survey of critics' polls: Best Albums Of The Decade: A Roundup Of Critic Lists.

Rolling Stone also has Kid A at the top of its 100 Best Albums Of The Decade.

UNCUT names its top 50 albums of the decade: Uncut's Greatest Albums Of The Decade.


No Depression has surveyed its readers for the No Depression Community's Top 20 Albums Of The Decade.
