Great Southern Blues Festival and club dates scheduled.
Love Police has announced that Louisiana supergroup
Lil' Band O' Gold is heading back to Australia for shows at the Great Southern Blues Festival and club dates.
The band will return to Melbourne for two steamy nights either side of the Yarra, while Sydney, Newcastle and Caloundra will all get to experience the band for the first ever time.
Lil' Band O' Gold is the coming together of a bunch of legendary players and writers with band leader CC Adcock and accordion champion Steve Riley. The band features singer and drummer Warren Storm, the man considered the grandfather of swamp pop. Add much covered songwriter David Egan on piano, the creativity of Dickie Landry on saxophone, with wind support from Pat Breaux, bass man Dave Ranson and West Australia's very own Lucky Oceans on pedal steel.
The band’s latest album The Promised Land released on Australia’s own Dust Devil label.
