Music News Big Week For Little Red Wednesday, July 09, 2008
It's been a massive week for Melbourne band Little Red, whose debut album Listen To Little Red came in at number 29 on the ARIA album charts, it also hit the number one spot on the AIR Charts. All of this comes on the eve of the band's first national headline tour which sees the harmonically splendid outfit bring their feel good tunes to punters across the nation. Joining Little Red on the tour will be The Holidays and Andy Bull. The Holidays are a four piece hailing from Sydney, who in their short time as a band, have toured Australia with The View, The Wombats, Ben Kweller, Wolf and Cub, Damn Arms, The Temper Trap, Jamie T and many more! Andy Bull is a 23 year old singer, songwriter and piano player who began his musical life as a young child playing on the parlour piano and pump organ his keyboard enthusiast father had collected through his travels in the 1970s - the result is both stylish and classic: a mix of soul, rock and Tin Pan Alley era songwriting and lyricism.
